The InBetween

This work explores the fragile boundary between chaos and inner peace. As the market swirls with noise, colour and movement, the sleeper remains suspended in a private world of rest. The crack running through the ground hints at tension between survival and escape, reality and imagination. The scene becomes a metaphor for the emotional spaces we carve out for ourselves even in the most overwhelming environments.

Moonlit Slumber


This piece explores the quiet threshold between sleep and the subconscious. Bathed in surreal tones and illuminated by the moon, the resting figure becomes a symbol of the inner journeys we take when the world falls silent. The contrasting stripes of the shirt introduce tension between order and vulnerability, while the dream-like colours suggest emotions and memories rising to the surface. Rather than depicting a literal dream, the work reflects the hidden stories and psychological landscapes that shape us beneath our waking life.

The Unseen Self


This work explores the moment of confronting one’s hidden self. Under the moon’s dim light, the figure faces a reflection that appears more expressive, more honest, and more emotionally charged than the outward self. The snow-like particles soften the scene, blurring the line between reality and imagination. The image questions how much of our true identity is visible and how much remains locked inside the private conversations we have with ourselves.

Unseen Exchange


This piece imagines a familiar Nigerian market scene transported into an impossible frozen landscape inspired by the cold terrains often associated with the UK and other distant worlds. The work examines resilience and labour through surreal contrast: warmth and routine displaced into a harsh, unfamiliar environment. By merging two opposing worlds, the image reflects how emotional weight, hardship and unspoken struggles are often carried beneath the surface of everyday work—whether in Nigeria or in the UK. What appears ordinary becomes a quiet negotiation for survival, identity and adaptation across different landscapes.
